- Turbulent transport processes
- Identification of the quality of a separation process and separation function
- Separation process models
- Basics of plant dimensioning and design
- Physical basics for the following separation processes:
- Classification
- Sort
- Magnetic and eddy current separation
- Flotation
- Filtration with a focus on “separation of the finest particles”
- Optical sorting
- Analysis and synthesis of plant concepts
