Learn more about the coverage and recognition of the industry internship.

The interns have to keep record on the activities and observations gained during the internship. The record must be confirmed by the company providing the internship. The report shall describe the activities carried out by the intern.

For the specialized internship (“Fachpraktikum”) the report has to includes weekly overviews and additional work reports. For reporting the project internship, weekly summaries and related work reports for each project carried out have to be written. The length of the reportis approximately one to two typed A4 pages (font size 12, line spacing: single) including one to two images per week.

For each internship also a short company description has to be attached the report. The description should include both the activities and outputs of the training company including for example the company size (number of employees), and social and organizational structure information. The length of the company description should not exceed more than a half typewritten A4 page.

In addition, the report should contain a brief assessment of the trainee or intern which is to attach to the report. This is to describe the experience gained by the intern or trainee during the internship and critically evaluate his or her work done. This reflection should not exceed more than a half typewritten A4 page.

The reports shall be in English or German.

The internship report has to be submitted tothe secretariat at the Chair of Paper Science first. After approval it can be handed in at the Internship Office of the Faculty.
