Tutorials at PMV

The Department of Paper Making and Mechanical Process Engineering offers laboratory internships for students. These are an integral part of the Master's program "Paper Science and Technology – Paper Technology and Biobased Fiber Materials" and enable students to deepen and broaden the knowledge acquired in the lectures. The following laboratory internships are offered:

Tutorial Period
Tutorial paper testing Winter semester
Tutorial Application of Industry 4.0 methods in process control Summer semester

Participation in the internships is also possible for students of other disciplines. However, students of other disciplines are requested to contact Prof. Schabel before the start of lectures and to inquire about module recognition and examination modalities in their module handbook or in their examination secretariat or study office.

Master students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering can have the practical course Paper Examination recognised as tutorial.
